The Union of architects of Russia invites you to participate in the Russian competition with international participation “Build School Project”, which will be held in the framework of the First international exhibition “Build School 2017” from 26 to 29 September 2017 in Moscow in “Expocentre”. The major task of the competition is to ensure the quick implementation of the best architectural projects of preschool and school buildings, profile schools, sports, music, art, corps for initial classes, extensions to schools.
The competition will promote best practices in the specific Russian context, the improvement of social infrastructure for children and the implementation of innovative design approaches in educational environment in terms of mass construction. The competition will also contribute to the broad exchange of experience among architectural bureaus from different countries involving in dialog local and Federal authorities and main architects of cities.
The participation of official delegations from the Federal and regional ministries and departments of Russia will facilitate to the identification and promotion of best practices for design, construction and implementation of modern technologies in the framework of large-scale state program on creation of new educational places across all regions of Russia until 2025.
«Build School 2017» will bring togheter leading industry professionals and companies in the fields of design, construction, reconstruction, modernization and operation of pre-school and school buildings.
The relevance (topicality) of holding exhibition and great interest shown by the government bodies, professional community and wide range of public groups can be explained by the extensive future prospects in providing nursery and general school education.
«Build School. 2017» will represent new architectural projects of modern kindergartens and schools, as well as all the diversity of construction and finishing materials, engineering and sanitary facilities, interior furnishing, equipment for sport halls, playgrounds, canteens, auditoriums etc.
Regions of Russia are preparing for the extensive large-scale construction and renovation of school and pre-school buildings. Overall, it is needed about 3 trillion of Russian rubles for the program implementation for the next 10 years.
This new and renewed architecture should match the level and methods of today’s education system and stay applicable after several years. A proper attention will be paid for the buildings’ technical equipment. A modern kindergarten and school should become multifunctional, spacious, technological and visually attractive, and moreover, implement accessibility requirements for the disabled children.
