The Fondation des Amis de Médecins du Monde is pleased to invite architecture and design students living in France and the United Kingdom to take part in its Architecture & Design Competition on homelessness. Contestants should consider new ways to address the issue of homelessness with architecture and design, in a socially and environmentally sustainable way. The Fondation des Amis de Médecins du Monde‘s mission is to support sustainable solidarity and humanitarian action within the health sector, through technical and scientific research, promotion and innovation. This competition intends to encourage the outbreak and development of new ideas to respond to the issues of precarious housing and homelessness, factors of health deterioration for the most vulnerable.

The Fondation des Amis de Médecins du Monde gives contestants the freedom to create and work on a life module, with no limitation in terms of location, climate, political, social or cultural context. Their project should be based on an in-depth analysis and study of homeless people, and also be socially and environmentally sustainable.
