The overall objective is to enhance the Porto Corallo promenade; the stretch from the mouth of the Flumendosa to the beach of Porto Su Tramatzu. This would create a connection which, starting from the upgrading of the existing coastal road, would integrate it with a system of low-impact, low-speed routes (slow ways), thereby allowing for a more sustainable use of beaches and other areas of naturalistic, landscape and cultural interest.

Ercolano is a city of ancient origins, the testimonies of the first settlements date back to 1243 a.C. In 89 a.C. it became a Roman colony but the age of the empire lasted about two centuries because the terrible eruption of Vesuvius hit the area in 79 d.C. covering the city under a lava blanket. In the eighteenth century, during the Bourbon empire, the first excavation works were started which and, thanks to the first discoveries, contributed to the birth of the Neoclassical movement. Milan is a city of many identities. Life moves frenetic under the spiers of the Cathedral and the grandeur of the Velasca tower, two of the most recognizable symbols of Milan skyline. The urban landscape is rapidly transforming, built episodes continue to change the image of city. Piazza Gae Aulenti and the Vertical Wood – residential complex of arch Boeri – are some of the interventions that have been a spurt in the growth of north Milan. Milan Residential Complex will be built near the Porta Nuova district, between the Isola district, the area of nineteenth-century workers’ residences, and the directional Centre, recognized place of metropolitan business.
