Presented by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and sponsored by Vitra, the IIDA Student Booth Design Competition at Orgatec 2018 gives students the opportunity to design and transform a trade show booth and gain exposure by having their design concept executed at a prominent global trade show.
ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to students worldwide who are currently enrolled in an Interior design/architecture program or university during the 2018 spring semester. Participants can enter individually or as a team of 2.
IMPORTANT DATES
Competition Opens: Tuesday, December 5, 2017 Deadline to Enter: Friday, March 9, 2018 AWARDS The winning design concept will be chosen by international design experts. The winner (or winning team) will receive a trip to Orgatec Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany, October 23-27, 2018, to execute their design concept, as well as a day trip to the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein. The winning design concept also will be featured on the IIDA and Vitra websites, in Design Matters (the IIDA biweekly newsletter), QUAD (IIDA student newsletter), and on IIDA social media networks.
EDUCATORS
Include the Booth Design Competition in your winter or spring 2018 curriculum, and if your student’s design concept is selected as the winner, you’ll receive: • A trip to Orgatec Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany, October 23–27, 2018. • A daytrip to the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, Germany.

Individual Entries: 1. IIDA Student Members – $30.00 2. Non-members – $60.00 Team Entries: 1. IIDA Student Members – $50.00 (at least one student on the team must be an IIDA Student Member) 2. Non-members – $80.00
