DOCEXDOCE and ARCHsharing have collaboratively organized this special design contest edition known as Living to tell the tale. During these unsettling times of Coronavirus we have created a novel contest with a unique format that aims to showcase the work of students and young professionals in the fields architecture and design.
2. When is the competition?
The contest is being run globally and will last 54 hours as follows:
Start of the contest: Friday, April 17
09:00 PM GMT+2 (Spain local time) 03:00 PM GMT-4 (Chile local time)
End of the contest: Sunday, April 19
09:00 PM GMT-4 (Chile local time) 03:00 AM GMT+2 (Spain local time)*

3. Who can participate?
Contestants must be 18 years or over. They must be studying an official Degree or Master in any public or private University or be a young professional who graduated and was accredited after January 1st, 2018.
We actively encourage participants to create interdisciplinary groups together with students from other university or professional training in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Philosophy, History of Arts, etc.
4. How can I participate?
Contestants can participate individually or in groups of up to 4 members. Participation is exclusively online. Contestants will receive all the necessary information necessary for the contest via the Internet.
All competition entries must be submitted in digital format and according to the instructions that will later follow this announcement.
A maximum number of 1 proposal is allowed if working individually and a maximum of 2 proposals if working in a team. All proposals will be evaluated by the jury individually and anonymously.
5. Extra infos
The contest is free for everyone to enter and no registration is required. All teams that submit their proposal correctly will be considered during the jury stage. The theme / topic of the contest is a surprise and will remain “hidden” until the start time.
A total of 12 prizes will be awarded, divided into: 3 Winners + 8 Honorable Mentions + 1 Special Public Prize.
The prizes will be of a material nature, with a total value of over €1,000. A physical publication of the winning projects will also follow. A large jury made up of professionals from different areas with different nationalities will be in charge of evaluating the entries.
