Monsoon Architecture Awards are instituted for the first time as part of the Living Monsoon program of the Indian Institute of Architects, Cochin Centre. The aim of the awards is to bring recognition to recent best projects of the Monsoon Climatic Regions of the world. Projects are invited from Architects world-wide, who have done exemplary works in the Monsoon Climatic region, designs for which are sensitive to Climate, Environment and Society.Eminent Jury of international repute will evaluate participating projects. The Awards will be presented at the Monsoon Architecture Festival in April, 2017.

Category A – Single Family Residential
Category B – Multiple Family Residential
Category C – Leisure / Resort / Hospitality
Category D – Institutions / Work Places
ELIGIBILITY
Participating Architects shall be members of the recognized Council or Association or Institute or Society of Architects in their country of practice.
Projects should be located in the monsoon regions of the world (ref: Koppen Geiger Climate Classification) and shall be completed in the last 5 years (2012-present).
