1. Introduction
MayORR Institute invites qualified architectural firms to submit proposals for the design and development of a hospital project. The hospital will be developed in a phased manner to allow for an early operational start while accommodating future expansion goals. The design must focus on modularity, expanding each area vertically or via corridors.

2. Project Overview
The project involves a hospital’s architectural design and planning with initial core facilities and future expansion capabilities. The hospital aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services, starting with essential medical facilities and progressively adding specialised departments.

3. Project Goals and Objectives
Early Operational Start: Establish core medical services promptly.

Modular Design: Ensure all areas are designed for vertical or horizontal expansion.

Phased Development: Implement a development plan that allows for systematic growth.

Comprehensive Care: Expand services to include specialized medical wings and departments.

Patient-Centered Environment: Create facilities that enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Sustainability and Efficiency: Incorporate sustainable practices and efficient operational workflows.

4. Scope of Work
The selected architectural firm will be responsible for:

Conceptual Design: Developing architectural concepts that meet the project’s goals.

Detailed Architectural Plans: Providing detailed blueprints and specifications for all phases.

Compliance: Ensuring designs meet all local, regional, and national building codes and healthcare regulations.

Coordination: Working closely with the project team, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.

Phased Implementation Planning: Creating a plan that allows for uninterrupted operations during expansions.

Cost Estimation: Assisting in developing accurate construction budgets for each phase.

Sustainability Integration: Incorporating sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.
