“Children are the torchbearers of progress and the architects of a new nation”—Jawaharlal Nehru

Many children come home from school to places that are noisy and cluttered, making it hard for them to find a quiet spot to study. Their hopes are often dashed by the lack of a peaceful environment to focus on their studies and pursue their aspirations. How can we, as designers, create spaces that free them from these challenges and, in turn, support their learning?

By creating these study environments, can we empower not just one child, but nurture the growth of future generations?

The challenge is to design a 24-hour study centre for children aged 10 to 16 years. We invite designers to imagine a space that accommodates an encouraging and safe environment for children to study.

These spaces are rare, making this a revolutionary tool for empowering the youth. The competition is open to architects, firms, teachers, and studios in the architecture and design industry.

– This challenge offers a chance to contribute to social development and community well-being.
– It’s a unique opportunity to showcase creativity and problem-solving skills, enhancing your portfolio and earning career recognition.

Together, we can build a future where no child is left behind, where every child has the space to dream, to learn, and to achieve. Join us in this mission to empower minds and lives through the power of architecture.
