“Souls of Beirut” is an international competition run by +FUTURE. an initiative that aims to bring together all Creative Thinkers, Architects, Designers, Creatives and Artists to stand with those who are affected by the blast as a creative culture community. it presents a new story of hope through creativity; by designing a memorial landmark / artwork. the memorial is set to honor the deceased, injured and affected lives in the light of the tragic explosion occurred on 4th of August in Beirut as well as sending a message of solidarity for the people of Lebanon with regards to its current situation.

The Tropical Cyclones are critical natural hazards, the Indian subcontinent faced time and again, especially the coastal Bay of Bengal in India and Bangladesh as well as some parts of Sri Lanka. The rise in sea levels due to global warming poses another threat. Among Indian states, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal are the worst affected, historically. The recent Super Cyclone, ‘Amphan’, in May 2020 was one of the most powerful storms that inflicted widespread damage in West Bengal and Odisha in India along with Khulna and Barishal divisions of Bangladesh. The town of Oleiros in central Portugal has a connection with Tibet and HRH the Dalai Lama that goes back 400 years. In 1600 the local priest, Padre Antonio de Andrade, travelled and studied throughout Europe and India, before eventually crossing the Himalayas into Tibet. Kurgi farm is owned by a young couple, Kristaps and Laura, who were mesmerised by the natural beauty of the area. So much so that they decided to live there permanently.
