We are at a delicate stage in our relationship with our ally to the south, Mexico. The destructive and divisive security wall that stands at this time has the potential to overwhelm an important but fragile friendship between the ordinary citizens of the United States and Mexico. Especially in these charged times, it is critical to make a visionary statement that says, “we remain friends and allies”.
