YAC – Young Architects Competitions and Baglietto launches NAUTICAL MICRO MUSEUM, a competition of ideas aiming to design some exhibition spaces that will travel to narrate the ancient history of one of the oldest and most important shipyards in Europe.
The call for ideas ARCTIC HOTEL was launched on April 2021 by YAC – Young Architects Competitions – for the design of accommodation facilities combining hospitality and unspoilt nature and offering a unique experience for the observation of the Aurora Borealis.

Compact Living: How We Live in The Future invites participants to create compact living spaces where a small group of people could have everything done in one space by packing their heterogeneous lifestyle efficiently. The design would have to face the challenge in a limited area of land considering human comfort and the effectiveness of activities. Participants are expected to speculate how humans themselves would live in the future and how the evolving technologies play a big role in supporting it.

The purpose of the competition is to consider the positive impact of choosing to build temporary mobile structures which have the lightest possible impact on the land and can have multiple uses, rather than permanent structures which will one day be knocked down and create more harmful waste.
