The iMapp Bucharest 2017 Video Mapping Competition is jointly organized by the Municipality of Bucharest, Creart – Center for Creation, Art and Tradition of the Municipality of Bucharest as the Producer, Maxin10sity Ltd. as the Art Curator and 360 Revolution Srl as Technical Provider henceforth collectively referred to as the Organizer. We are inviting international artists to create 4 minute 30 second long videomapped animations to the theme of “Above and Beyond” adapted to the façade of Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, Romania using and enhancing the architecture, and accompanied by music. New History is made not from a position of sentimentality toward style, but rather it must be critical of our past and used to inform architecture that is responsive to both its context and future inhabitants.
