YAC – Young Architects Competitions – announce the winners of Rwanda Chapel, a competition of ideas that was launched last March in order to design a chapel for a local religious community of Poor Clare Nuns.
There was a total cash prize of € 15,000 to reward to the winner projects: the 1st prize of € 8,000 has been awarded to the Chinese team “LI & HUANG”, the 2nd prize of € 4,000 to the Chinese team “ZAI” and the 3rd prize of € 2,000 to the Birmanian team “Bithuka”. The 2 Gold Mentions, of € 500 each, have been assigned to the Kosovarian team“Krosa” and to the Serbian team “Studio Petkovic”. 10 Honorable Mentions and 34 Finalist Mentions follow up as the completion of this huge and international podium.
