Launched in 2014, this competition promotes important business fundamentals in small to mid-sized architectural practices. Are you a leader of a small architecture firm interested in planning for the future of your business?
This unique competition recognizes small architecture firms that have invested time and resources in effective planning for their business. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes are awarded to the winner, including paid travel and lodging to the 2020 AIA Conference on Architecture in Los Angeles. Finalists have a unique opportunity to interact with a jury of industry leaders. There is no fee to enter and all submissions are confidential.
In this phased contest, Charrette Venture Group (CVG) will guide participants as they advance through three stages of the competition:
Writing Your Executive Summary (for all registrants)
How to Write a Business Plan (for semi-finalists)
How to Pitch Your Business Plan (for finalists)
Eligibility: Registrants must own an equal, or majority, share of an existing business that has received at least $100 in revenue within the past six months, is a legally registered business in the United States or Canada, and employs fewer than 25 full-time employees. Please; no hypothetical or prospective entries. Special exceptions to these qualifications may be considered by request. All entrants will be subject to the full rules and regulations for eligibility.
