THE TALENT PROGRAM
The yachting world is one of the narrowest niches in the luxury market, as well as one of the most demanding and complex contexts a designer can deal with. In the yachting world, technical skills, creative or design qualities are relevant and fundamental. However, they are not the only significant elements. In fact, cultural background, knowledge of the art market and luxury trends, empathy and interpersonal relationship qualities also contribute to a yacht designer’s success. Nautical design imposes numerous challenges. For this reason, Baglietto launched the Talent Program in Nautical Design. The program consists of a sequence of workshops oriented to train new generations of nautical designers, who draw experience from Baglietto’s expertise and its network of professionals, in order to provide useful elements to enhance their professional career.

LA SPEZIA
La Spezia is the heart of Baglietto shipyards. It is the natural destination in which to carry out the course’s didactic activities in close proximity to the Baglietto shipyard. Here, students will have the chance to experience the backstage of the production of a yacht, learn information directly from Baglietto staff, and hone their skills for the next stages of the design. The lessons will be held at the Santa Caterina Park Hotel in Sarzana. Upon request, students can stay in the same facility throughout the course.
FLORENCE
In order for students to have a complete and authentic experience of designing a furniture collection, from concept to creation, students will be given the opportunity to conduct the workshop at Francesco Pazskowski’s studio in Florence. Francesco Pazskowski design is one of the most distinguished and emblazoned naval design studios in the world, which has sculpted Baglietto’s image in recent years, earning some of the most prestigious and renowned awards in nautical design.
THE DESIGN WORKSHOP
The design workshop will be conducted by Francesco Paszkowski, one of the main nautical designers in Europe, in his studio in Florence. It will be the crucial moment when students have the opportunity to apply the skills acquired in the other modules to a real project. The main objective is to design the interior of a yacht or houseboat, taking inspiration from Baglietto’s distinctive style and values. In this workshop, students will explore new creative horizons, seeking innovative solutions that integrate aesthetics and ergonomics. The goal is to create a unique environment that reflects the brand’s identity, combining luxury and functionality. Through this challenge, students will develop advanced financial planning skills in the context of naval design, achieving high-quality results.
