The aim of the competition is to design a complex of 12 villas in Nairobi. The 12 villas are planned to be built in an area of 10602 m2. Each villa should have two parking lots. One of the major aims in designing these villas is to improve the inhabitant’s quality of life. Having some elements like balconies or good views to the sites are some strategies to be applied.
REQUESTED ITEMS:
Maximum area of each villa: 400 square meters
Building stories: two or three storey
Rooms: 4 or 5 bedroom + guest room + servant quarter (including bathroom)
Kitchen store and utility yard (Preferably next to the kitchen)
All mentioned areas should have direct view of outside
Common area: swimming pool and gym for residents, parking for visitor, gate and security room.
GUIDELINES
The competition shall be conducted in English.
Submission must be the original work of the Entrant and must not have been previously published.
All Submissions must strictly conform to the Terms and Conditions and the Rules and Guidelines.
The Winner is prohibited from the sale, assignment, or transfer of any of their submission rights to a third party.
By entering the competition, the entrant acknowledges and accepts that all aspects of any Submission, including but not limited to narratives, descriptions, details, images and Drawings may be used by the Organizer for publicity purposes or future projects.
Designs should be presented in maximum two A1 sheets.
Mahan ltd will endeavor to send prizes after ruling the Competition.
All the drawings should be within a high quality and resolution to be well printed on an A1 size.
