The National Design Museum is a cultural institution centered on the concept and value of design, and its purpose is to promote the creative cultural industry through the records and interpretations of
contemporary designs, to understand social and cultural aspects through design, and to promote mutual understanding and cultural prosperity. The purpose of this international design competition is to select the optimal design for the establishment of the ‘National Design Museum’ with the above background.

– Winner (1 Work) : Award and priority negotiation right for preliminary design and working design
– 2nd Place (1 Work) : Award and 40,000,000 KRW
– 3rd Place (1 Work) : Award and 30,000,000 KRW
– Honorable Mention (2 Works) : Award and 15,000,000 KRW each

Eligibility
Both domestic and foreign architects (Licensed Architects, including
corporations) can participate. A joint application can be made by up to 5 people (individual or corporation), and one of the joint applicants must be selected as the representative and registered.
